What Our Clients Think
From the members of Dr. Woody Hopf's lab
University of Indiana
I highly recommend Tracie Rindfield to teach your lab telemetry implant surgery. This intra-artery surgery is technically quite challenging, and Tracie has an exceptional teaching style. In many ways, she teaches by example and exemplifies the calmness, patience, and focus needed. My lab members were very happy, and while both have significant rat surgical experience, they both felt that Tracie’s easygoing guidance helped them get the new needed skills and nuances.
Clara Tourino
Director of In-Vivo Biology
“I have been doing in vivo work for more than 20 years, but I could not figure out how to dose rats intrathecally. We used Tracie's services to learn the procedure, and it was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only we learn the procedure, but we had a wonderful time while learning from her. She is knowledgeable, attentive, kind and very patient. We will definitely contract her services again when we need to learn a new complicated in vivo procedure.”

Tracie Rindfield (Rindfield Consulting) provided exceptional guidance with our lengthy rat surgeries that improved survival and overall outcome. She helped us modify the surgical protocol, provided hands-on guidance, and helped communicate rationale for specific steps in the protocol to our institutional veterinarian. Tracie’s expertise has had a lasting effect on our team's performance. I highly recommend Rindfield Consulting for any organization looking to make a long-term investment in their rodent surgical skills and protocols.

Tracie Rindfield from Rindfield Consulting is truly an asset to any research institution. She came to our facility last spring, and the training she provided has not only improved our technical skills but has also improved the quality of life for our animals. She taught my colleague and I how to place telemetry units in rats, including an invasive blood pressure monitor.
From the beginning, she was extremely helpful to ensure we had everything we needed. She shared documents to prepare us for the procedure and made sure we had all the necessary supplies ahead of time. Once she arrived, she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and was an excellent teacher.
Through her excellent teaching and communication skills, she was able to teach us the procedure on day one. She came back the following day to ensure we were comfortable with the procedure and provide additional guidance.
As mentioned before, Tracie is an excellent communicator, and following the training she followed up to make sure we didn’t have any questions and everything was running smoothly. She also provided additional guidance, which allowed us to place telemetry units in other species, such as rabbits.
Tracie has provided my colleagues and I with invaluable skills that will ultimately improve the quality of research performed at our institution.

Tracie is an extremely skilled and very experienced surgeon. It has been a benefit to me and my associate surgical team to be able to work with and learn from her. Tracie's willingness to work with variable schedules is also a big advantage when we seek to bring her on site. I would readily recommend Tracie especially for support in microsurgical procedures.

Tracie helped us tremendously troubleshooting implant procedures within our large animal studies. ECG lead fixation, routing and blood pressure sensor insertion as well as generator positioning worked a lot better after her training. Many thanks!!

Tracie came in to perform mouse IV tail vein injections on several occasions for my studies. She performed the injections with a 100% success rate and was successful at training other in-life technicians on the tail vein injections at the same time.
Tracie was very professional and fit in like another member of the staff. I highly recommend her technical and professional skills.
